What made the Think Bigger Actors Retreat worthwhile?

  • All of the hands on activities: I particularly loved being able to perform for the casting directors, and making our short film in 40 minutes or so, that was amazing and so much fun!

  • Three reasons: 1. This was the most diverse actor experience I’ve attended of this type/scale and representation matters. 2. The speakers were not on a money grab. They were generous, humble and super engaged.  3.The environment is a safe space.
  • I think anyone who needs a little kick in the butt or to remind themselves why they became an actor could benefit from this! And this is for anyone who is just trying to get to that next level, or who needs a little reset in their life.
  • It was motivating and provided a unique, practical take on the current state of the acting business versus other acting retreats ( which are usually class intensive types).  It also provided space for community and connection — something I think is lacking in our industry post-pandemic.

How was the ticket investment, compared to what you received over the weekend?

  • The investment was so worth the price. The takeaways were priceless. Like I don’t think I could have afforded more than that but I absolutely am happy with this investment. especially since a lot of other similar actor weekends or things like that cost way more. 
  • Worth every penny, this event was Priceless.
